How to go to the gym – for dummies

It should be quite simple, shouldn’t it? Just go to the nearest gym, sign up for a membership and start working out…

Unfortunately many people, especially young people, think you have to look a certain way to go to the gym. In other words; that you have to be fit to go to the gym.

Of course, this is far from the truth. The truth is: everyone starts from zero. Whether you want to gain muscle mass, lose weight or just get in shape, your local gym can be a great place to go. Don’t get discouraged by bodybuilder types who have been working out for many years – make your own goal, and follow a plan.

So, what do you need to go to the gym?

To answer this question in the most simple way: you need good work-out clothes, shoes, and yes, that’s basically it! Do yourself a favor and invest in good shoes, that are made for the kind of exercise you need; running, cross-fit, etc.
